Beautiful Butterfly

Everyone has a dream or dreams in their lives that they would like to achieve whether it can be realised or not. It could be from wanting to be a scientist or movie star to having a big business empire. Some only dream of having a simple life with a good job and happy family. Dreams gave us hope and a meaning to lives.

I suddenly get this inspiration while I was thinking of how to renovate my baby’s nursery room, thanks to my new year resolution. I always feel that children are getting lesser and lesser space for them to play and to express their creativities. Some housing developers don’t even care to build a simple playground for the communities and those with playgrounds are poorly maintain.

So this is where I thought of having an indoor playground with safety and cleanliness in mind. The children can roam around climbing, running, jumping,shouting and when they are tired, they can sit,eat and read a book. Those who have been to KidsWorld in MidValley would know what I’m talking about. They could be the first in Malaysia but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have more of these places for the children. I even have a name for my playground-MyKidsLand for this is a place they can call thier own. I even go to the extend of searching the current indoor playground available and the rental of such a place. I even know when I want to start this place.

However some dreams don’t come cheap. First it’s not going to be cheap to buy such a playground and plus the overhead and rental of such place in major shopping complexes. Also in consideration is how much charges parents are willing to pay for their children and whether is it enough to cover the cost of investment? Not only that, I need to find a few investors who believe in my dream, who would also be a team players. There is also commitment to maintain and attract people and you have to put your time and energy to make it work whether it’s a weekends or public holidays.

Nonetheless, I believe strongly that children deserve all these because they are our future as Whitney Houston sang in her song "Greatest Love Of All" I can see the happiness shine through of a child’s face as they let their minds roam freely in my place.
